Preventive Exams

Dogs and cats require regular preventive exams – at least once per year. These exams are important because it allows us to set and measure a baseline for your pet’s physiological systems and behavior. That way, when something deviates, we can be quick to spot and treat the problem. It is critical to catch health issues early on, which is why preventive exams save many lives.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture of a dog - outside
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine technique used to provide many different health benefits for pets. When integrated with recommended therapies, acupuncture can provide significant pain relief, improved mobility & healing, reduced inflammation, and overall better quality of life for our pets with minimal side effects. Some conditions treated with acupuncture include digestive issues, neurological disorders, joint pain & arthritis, respiratory issues and anxiety.

Acupuncture is performed by inserting thin needles into specific points on a pet's body to stimulate healing. This in turn increases blood flow, reduces inflammation, and triggers the release of beneficial chemicals like endorphins and cortisol.

Ozone Therapy

Ozone therapy uses medical-grade ozone (O₃) to stimulate natural healing processes in pets. Ozone therapy has a wide range of potential benefits for dogs, cats, and other animals including anti-inflammatory effects, antimicrobial action and immune system support. It is commonly used to treat arthritis, chronic infections (dental, urinary, ear, skin), wound and tissue healing, gut/microbiome health and cancer support to slow tumor progression and improve quality of life when combined with conventional treatments. Unlike environmental ozone, medical ozone is carefully generated from pure oxygen and administered in controlled doses to avoid toxicity.
