Dr. Fred S. Baron received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 1977. He opened Coastal Plains Animal Clinic here in El Campo, TX in 1985. Since then, his practice has been serving the People and Pets of Wharton County and beyond. Dr. Baron strives to always provide the highest level of quality care to all of his patients and is always improving himself with education on the most modern medicine available for your pets, including integrating Chinese Medicine when appropriate.
During his spare time, Dr. Baron can be found enjoying his afternoon with his 4 rescues Coco, Ellie, Copper & Apollo and his cat Loxi. He also enjoys gardening, spending time with his family and of course some Aggie Football!
Meow, Woof & Hello! My name is Rebecca and I am the manager here at CPAC. I have been here for quite some time...13 years! I love building relationships with our clients and helping them help their furbabies live long, healthy & happy lives! I am a member of the HVPMA, VHMA, and am the Feline Advocate for our Feline Friendly Certified hospital. I am very proud to be a member of our team and to shout from the rooftops that we are certified by the American Animal Hospital Association and have been since 2000. We work very hard everyday to give your pet the top of the line medical care!
Fun Fact: I can talk to cats...and they talk back. It's true! Ask the staff! :)
Kaleigh Montalvo is one of our newest veterinary assistants who joined our team in 2017. Although she has never worked in the veterinary field Kaleigh has fell in love with being around all the fur babies that have come in to CPAC so much she is ready to add another fur babies to her family. Kaleigh’s family includes her husband Thomas, son Adrian, and rescue cat named Felix. On her days away from work Kaleigh and her family enjoy fishing, bike riding, and taking her son to the park. A fun fact about Kaleigh is she likes creating different cultural dishes and doing arts and crafts with her son.
Hello! My name is Natalie! I have been here at CPAC since 2017 and love helping animals! It is very important to me to be an advocate for any pet that walks in the door. My favorite part of the job is teaching pet owners how to keep their pets healthy.
Fun Fact: I can play 5 different instruments and enjoy composing my own music.
Why I like working in a Veterinary Hospital: I enjoy working in a veterinary hospital because of the animals I get to help save or keep safe.
Favorite things to do: When I'm not working, some of my favorite things to do include working with my two horses and mule or just sitting outside on a cool night by a warm fire.
Hidden talent: Photography! I love taking pictures of my dogs & horses, but also of my family and friends.
Why I like working in a Veterinary Hospital: I enjoy making people happy. Seeing the happiness on client's faces is the best!
